This past weekend, Easter weekend, I launched my fourth book, Inspired to Move Forward!
I marked the event by having a private launch event at my home for 25 of my closest friends. I spoke about my journey as an author, and the road to my fourth publication. As I spoke about each of my books, I could see how God has used each one to minister to a whole lot of people. I shared some of the testimonies that I’ve received from my previous works (some are also posted in my press kit). At the time, I didn’t think too much about it but as I reflect on what was said and what has happened over my years as an author, I am amazed at God – once again! 
The fact that I’m a self-published author and I don’t have the support of a giant publishing house behind me hasn’t detered me from doing what God has called me to do. He’s called me to encourage His people. And if I can encourage one person, as far as I’m concerned, I’m successful. Yes, of course, it would be wonderful to sell millions of copies of my books, and I believe that we’ll get there. But in the meantime, the fact that I can point to written testimonies of how God has used my work to minister to His people, causes me to be overjoyed!
