Last week, I was in New York City for Bookexpo America 2014. #BEA14 was trending on Twitter for several days and I can see why.
I’ve been to several conferences and expos in my life, but this particular conference was on steroids. It was mega-packed with lines that wrapped around several ropes like being at an amusement park. All for the love of books. How beautiful!
On the first day, on the way to the Javits Center, where the expo was being held, I beheld the same Times Square billboards on 7th Avenue where my pictures had been featured this past December. How exciting!!
Then when I arrived at the Javits Center, I beheld my latest title, “Good News in a Bad News World” on their New Titles Showcase shelf. Again, how exciting!
On day 3, it was time for me to sign some books in the Autographing Area. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting so many new people and people who said that they follow me on social media, and those who said that they just had to meet me because of my faith-based writings. Thoroughly enjoyed!
It took me a few days just to recoup my energy after returning home. BEA14 was a tremendous experience, and I just loved to be able to represent Christ and His good news to the masses.
