“All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.” John 1:3
We’ve all heard the “sayings”, “Let go and let God!”, “Leave it in the hands of the Lord”, “If it’s the Lord’s will….” and so on and so on. To many, these sayings are nothing more than cliches.
Are we missing the big picture?
Do we really believe in the power of God that words just can’t describe? Do we really believe that God is concerned about what concerns us? Do we really believe that the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof? Do we really believe that we can have what we say? It’s all scriptural.
Do we really believe??
I was praying recently and I told the Lord that I was tired of praying for the same things. Prayers that haven’t been answered yet – so what! I believe that the Lord WILL perfect that which concerns me. So now I’m going to pray about things and then start praising God that it’s already been taken care of — no matter how long it takes. And when I feel the urge to pray about the matter again, I’m going to PRAISE instead! And here’s why.
Because all things mean just that. Nothing missing or left out!
In Mark 9:23, Jesus said, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
He also said in Mark 10:27, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”
And that’s not all that the Word of God has to say about … all things & everything!
Romans 11:23 says, “For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever.”
Colossians 1:16 says, “For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.”
Colossians 1:17 goes on to say, “And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.”
Revelations 4:11 says, “ You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created.”
So, if we can just believe that all things are created by, through and for Christ, then it’s no wonder that the Word also tells us that;
We can do all things THROUGH CHRIST Who strengthens us! Philippians 4:13. And Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”
All things – nothing missing and nothing left out.
