Every year I seem to have the same Christmas shopping dilemma; what to buy my family members who seem to have everything? I’m sure that many of you have the same issue this year. There’s no need to break the bank to give wonderful, meaningful presents that everyone will love. So, I suggest that you give “experiences” as presents. Here’s what I mean, and these are a few of my favorite things:
1. Boxed candles – I LOVE THEM!! I think they’re so elegant and a timeless gift that keeps on giving. You don’t necessarily have to get a holiday fragrance, but a lovely fragrance like vanilla or lemon that can be enjoyed year-round.
2. Lavender Spa set– Bring the spa experience home! The scent of lavender is soooo relaxing, and
it’s unisex, so it can be enjoyed by the whole family! There are a lot of lavenders out there, but L’Occitane gets it right. Check them out for a variety of fabulous spa gift sets to give this year.

My friends and family love having a family brunch during the holiday, and Aunt Jemima has played a part in the past with their wonderful syrups (Butter Rich and Lite). Your mention of the frozen items has put an idea for a New Year’s Day Brunch, fried chicken, Aunt Jemima Frozen French Toast and Pancakes, with warm Butter Rich Syrup. I might even cut up the french toast and make a breakfast bread pudding. A Tonya brunch must have a Tonya signature drink, that is still in the works. Happy Holidays!!!
