This past September, I was selected to participate as one of the featured authors in the Author’s Pavilion of the Congressional Black Caucus Annual Legislative Conference (CBC ALC) which was held at the Washington, DC Convention Center. This was their 44th annual conference, and it always draws huge numbers of people from across the country and across the world!
I had such a great time while I was there. I spoke on a panel discussion, met new people, signed books, was interviewed by Praise 104.1FM Radio and WKYS 93.9 Radio – and I ran into one of my former bosses, Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson. I even got my name correctly spelled on a can of Coca-Cola (#shareacoke). 🙂
